JMNR – May 10th 2017

From log book – Jeff Davis 10.30-12.30 sunny and little wind
Green-vein White and Orange tips flyin all over. Kestrel hunting on field op., caught one small mammal and returned to look out in dead tree. Later was in tree back of C5A. White throat in hedge on R/H side reserve adj  patch. Great tits in trees of Cyrils patch. One Brimstone flew along stream area and then returned to right. 2 Speckled Wood moving. Chiffchaff in trees and wren singing other side of stream. Robin in trees growing in hide pond. St Mark’s Fly all over. Blackbird singing, 1 Large Red damsels on rushes in large pond, lots of newts showing in Bottom Pond and small tadpoles. 2 Peacocks flyin C6a, 1 Brimstone flying round hedge H1 and flew over Hedge H1 and followed stream through next field.
