JMNR Moth Trapping August 29th 2016

The moth trap was set up on the path by the hide on the evening of August 29th. Night-time minimum 13ÂșC. Nine species were recorded.

Canary-shouldered Thorn (Ennomos alniaria ) 2,
Flame Carpet (Xanthorhoe designata) 1,
Green Carpet (Colostygia pectinataria) 2,
Large Yellow Underwing (Noctua pronuba)3,
Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow (Noctua janthe) 1,
Narrow-winged Grey (Eudonia angustea) 1,
Square-spot Rustic (Xestia xanthographa) 3.
