First off some late news of 8 Black-tailed Godwits late afternoon of Sunday 27 June, the first of the year here. Today 2 Mute Swans, 9 Mandarins, fem Gadwall with five young, drake Common Scoter still, 4 LRPlovers with two juveniles ( though probably from elsewhere), 3 Common Sands inc the two juveniles, a Kingfisher and a Lesser Whitethroat on the West Bank – scarce here this year.
