2 Mute Swans, 15 Mandarins inc. 3 young that seem to have attached themselves to a Mallard family, 2 Great White Egrets flew SE at 0820, a Little Egret, Osprey, an Oystercatcher, 53 Lapwings, a Whimbrel over at 0942 ( giving a brief burst of song), ad Yellow-legged & juv Caspian Gull still, an ad Common Gull, a Raven, 15 Swifts, c90 House Martins, 10 Chiffchaffs, 1 Willow Warbler, 4 Blackcaps, 3 Grey Wags on the dam wall & a Yellow Wag flew S. Late news of a Green Sandpiper on 12 Aug with another present yesterday afternoon.
