Pintail (quite scarce here-usually only two or three records a year), 8 Tufteds, drake Pochard, 4 Goldeneye, 15 Goosander, a Little Egret ( unusual winter record), 10 Little & 47 G. C. Grebes, 13 Coots, c500 Lapwings, few Herring & 3 Common Gulls flew NE, a single Skylark over, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Willow Tit, 1 Redwing & a Yellowhammer.
