No sign of the Slavonian Grebe unfortunately and a lot quieter overall with no apparent new arrivals or transients; 2 Mute Swans, 3 drake Mandarins, 8 Gadwall, no Teal noted, 9 Tufted Ducks, the Oystercatcher pair with three chicks on Chapel Bay tern raft, 1 Ringed & 8 LRPlovers, single Greenshank & 2 Redshank still, single Common Tern, 7 BHGulls, 2 x 1st summer GBBGulls included one with part of it’s leg missing (the lower part obviously!, this is the third summer running this oddity has been seen here tho’ they must be different birds), 24 Stock Doves (with 42 yesterday), 2+ Swifts (still thin on the ground/in the air), 1 White Wag, 2 Yellow Wags.
