JMNR butterfly transect – 26th August 2016

Week 22 and an interesting mix of 11 species this week. Nikki Mahadevan was this week’s recorder: Comma (2), Gatekeeper (1), Green-veined White (8), Holly Blue (1), Large White (1), Painted Lady (1), Peacock (6), Red Admiral (2), Small Copper (1), Small Skipper (1) and Speckled Wood (1).
In addition a range of moths were seen: Brown China Mark, Silver Y (3), Straw Dot and Yellow Shell.
