The highlight today was Ogston’s third Ring Ouzel that flew south at Highoredish. Additionally from Highoredish 405 Meadow Pipits, a Brambling, 56 Chaffinches, 30 Goldfinches, 26 ‘Alba’ Wagtails, 23 Linnets, 34 Siskins, 10 Swallows, 12 Golden Plovers, 60 Pinkfeet SE, 10 Skylarks, c120 Redwings and a close encounter with a juv female Goshawk. At the res a Water Rail, the Common Sand still, 15 more Skylarks and a few more Swallows.
