27 Whooper Swans flew NW at 08:45 hrs and a further 9 arrived at 10:55 hrs remaining until flushed by boats mid afternoon, 1 Mandarin, 1 Tufted X Pochard hybrid, 6 Goldeneyes, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank, at least 330 Common Gulls through this afternoon, c5 Sand Martins through, 1 Grasshopper Warbler (earliest ever) heard briefly early morning by the West Bank car park, 1 Scandinavian Rock Pipit, the Hawfinch present again in Brackenfield Churchyard, several Bramblings visiting the feeders, at least 2 of which were singing.
