Female Garganey still, 5 Shoveler, 17 Gadwall, c20 Teal, Little Egret, 2 Sparrowhawks, 11 Buzzards in the air at one time, ad Yellow-l-Gull, a Swift, 11 Chiffchaffs & 2 Blackcaps. At Highoredish 0715-0900 vis-mig produced 232 Mipits SW, 458 House Martins SW/W, 78 Swallows SW, 3 Pied & 1 Grey Wag SW plus 7 Chaffinches, 6 Goldfinches, 3 Greenfinches and a Raven. A decent Meadow Pipit count this early bodes well, the peak count is usually around the 25th.
