3 Mute Swans, a total of 24 Whooper Swans (six present at first light, 16 SE at 0940, 2 more arrived at 1110, 10 Shoveler, 6 Wigeon, single Goldeneye, 3 + Buzzards, 2 Sparrowhawks, 2 Kestrels, ad Yellow-l-Gull, 2 Ravens, male Stonechat. Vis-mig at Highoredish, in addition to the Whoopers, produced c40 Pinkfeet SW, 3 ‘alba’ Wagtails, 2620 Wood Pigeons, 4 Goldfinches, 32 Redwings, 1 Brambling, 16 Golden Plovers W, 11 Redpolls, 9 Jays & 4 Skylarks. An adult female Goshawk gave stunning views as it flew along the ridge.
