A Merlin was hunting thrushes & finches in the vicinity of Prue’s Farm (behind the west bank) mid to late morning, showing well though quite distantly and perching up at times. Also 4 Shoveler, c20 Teal, 3 Goldeneye, 2 drake Goosander, Water Rail right of hide, 4+ Buzzards, 2 Kestrels, 4 Common Gulls, c200 Redwings, c20 Fieldfares, a Willow Tit and a Grey Wagtail.
