JMNR butterfly transect – 23rd August 2016

On a hot and sunny day Alan Kydd carried out the week 21 transect walk, recording: Comma (2), Green-veined White (1), Large White (3), Meadow Brown (3), Peacock (3), Red Admiral (1), Small White (2) and Speckled Wood (1). There were also 4 Whites that were not obliging enough to allow a positive identification, and a Silver Y moth.
